Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said the United States has sent another 90 tons of ammunition to Ukraine, Interfax reports.

“Today, another 90 tons of ammunition from the United States for the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been received. The total weight of US military aid now reaches 1,300 tons!” — wrote the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense on Facebook.

On February 5, it was reported that the eighth plane with 86 tons of ammunition from the United States arrived in Ukraine.

The United States has significantly increased military support for Ukraine amid fears of a Russian "invasion" due to the alleged increase in Russian forces near the borders of a neighboring state. Kiev received the first aid package on the morning of January 22.

In addition to the United States, Poland, Canada and the United Kingdom also provided military assistance to Ukraine.

The day before, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that London had transferred 2,000 anti-tank weapons to Ukraine. The prime minister allowed the shipment of new weapons to Kiev.
