Six landing ships of the Northern and Baltic fleets entered Sevastopol

Six large landing ships of the Northern and Baltic fleets entered the naval base of Sevastopol after crossing Europe. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF).

We are talking about such ships as Korolev, Minsk, Kaliningrad, Pyotr Morgunov, George the Victorious and Olenegorsky Miner.

Landing ships of project 775 "Korolev", "Minsk" and "Kaliningrad" are part of the Baltic Fleet, ships of project 775 "George the Victorious", "Olenegorsky miner" and the ship of project 11711 "Pyotr Morgunov" are part of the Northern Fleet of the Russian Federation.

Earlier it was reported that a detachment of ships from the Northern and Baltic Fleets was arriving in the Black Sea to conduct large-scale exercises.

A series of exercises led by the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Nikolai Evmenov is held in January-February in all fleets. In total, more than 140 ships and vessels, over 60 aircraft, 1,000 pieces of equipment and 10,000 military personnel are involved in the maneuvers.
