Russia (bbabo.net), - The joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises "Allied Resolve-2022" have been launched in Belarus.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the exercises began on February 10 at combined arms training grounds as part of the second stage of testing the response forces of the Union State.

The exercises are carried out to work out the tasks of repelling external aggression in the course of a defensive operation. In addition, they will practice countering terrorism and protecting the interests of the Union State.

The authorities, subdivisions and military units of the Eastern Military District and the Armed Forces of Belarus are involved in the "Union Resolve-2022". In addition, the S-400 Triumf air defense systems, the Pantsir-S short-range air defense system division, Su-35 fourth-generation multirole fighters and Su-25SM attack aircraft were relocated to Belarus.
