The Muftiate of Crimea commented on the incident with the Khan's Palace in Bakhchisarai

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - The Crimean Muftiate is closely following the situation with the Khan's Palace in Bakhchisarai, where one of the buildings cracked during restoration. This is stated in the statement of the head of the DUM of the peninsula Emirali Ablaev, which was announced by the executive secretary of the Crimean Muftiate Ayder Adzhimambetov.

The head of the religious organization noted that he took the situation under personal control and had already discussed it with the head of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tatyana Manezhina. The official attributed the occurrence of cracks in the building to the fact that it, being a remake, has no foundation.

Ablaev added that further work, including the elimination of cracks, will be carried out by highly qualified specialists.

Adzhimambetov recalled that this is the only object of the Crimean Tatar palace architecture in the world, which we all must preserve.

Earlier it was reported that the cracks were fixed on the wall of the secular building of the palace. It was pointed out that due to the lack of a foundation, the wall "slid" into the ground. Emergency work is currently underway and is expected to be completed within a month.
