The document, signed by EU Foreign Minister Josep Borrell, notes that Europe and NATO are ready to continue dialogue with Russia on the de-escalation of the situation on the border with Ukraine within the framework of the OSCE and the Russia-NATO Council: "We believe that the OSCE is a suitable platform for discussion by all security concerns in addition to other existing formats, including the Russia-NATO Council."

EU countries are concerned about the situation on the border of Russia and Ukraine. "We call on Russia to de-escalate and reverse its military buildup in and around Ukraine, as well as in Belarus," the letter said. At the same time, all controversial issues are proposed to be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

Earlier, during a press conference in the United States, Borrell said that the European Union does not believe that Russia wants to seize Ukraine, but Brussels believes that Russia is "seeking to exert pressure."
