What's Hiding Inside the Newest Steam Deck Console

Yesterday we saw the first full reviews of the Steam Deck console, and now we can watch a video with the disassembly of this device.

Since the author of the video took apart a similar Aya console in parallel, you can see that it has a noticeably larger fan than the brainchild of Valve. At the same time, we know that the Steam Deck heats up within reasonable limits, does not throttle, and that its noise level is about the same as that of competitors.

The cooling system also contains one heat pipe and a protective casing with thermal pads.

Further disassembly is not the easiest process. Among other things, it is very difficult to dismantle the battery due to the abundance of glue.

It is also worth highlighting the heart of the console directly. It's an AMD APU with a huge Valve logo on it, proving that this APU was made specifically for the Steam Deck.
