Tunisia forcefully denounced Saturday's "cowardly" terrorist attack in Al-Arich, North Sinai, Egypt, which killed three judges and wounded two others.
"Tunisia stands in total solidarity with Egypt in these painful circumstances," the Foreign Ministry said Monday in a press release.
Tunisia also offers its deepest condolences and expresses its heartfelt sympathy to Egypt; it also wishes the wounded prompt recovery.
Three judges were gunned down Saturday and two others sustained injuries in a terrorist attack that targeted the car taking them to Al-Arich court.
The shooting took place hours after former Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi was sentenced to death by the Cairo Court of Cassation.
