Russia (bbabo.net), - Three Neighborhood Centers (NCs) of a new format began to work in Nizhny Novgorod. Their main feature has become a focus on the younger generation and their needs.
The centers are equipped with digital technology, divided into thematic spaces: coworking (where you can study and work), a quiet zone, a platform for creativity and master classes, as well as a place where you can use the technical capabilities of the SC.
For example, an action plan has already been prepared for visitors to the center at 1 Dolzhanskaya Street. Poetry and other themed evenings will be held here on an ongoing basis. As noted by the head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian Public Movement (NRO VOD) "Volunteers of Victory" Maria Samodelkina, several poets and Nizhny Novgorod residents, whose activities are related to art, expressed their desire to share their creative experience. They are ready to hold music master classes, dance battles and much more.
- There is an idea to move away from the usual master classes in needlework and conduct, for example, learning to play the guitar or vocals, - says Maria. - Among the volunteers there are many talented guys who will be happy to teach those who wish something new.
In addition to the SC on Dolzhanskaya, similar centers were opened in the Sormovsky and Nizhny Novgorod regions. From day the center in the Soviet district will start working.
“More than 44 thousand people live in our microdistrict, and we really lacked some kind of space where we could gather, united by different things,” says Margarita Shiryaeva, chairman of the Territorial Public Self-Government (TPS) Upper Pechery. - At the opening of the center, we saw how much demand it would be. Here, both schoolchildren and adults - everyone found something to do.
According to the head of Nizhny Novgorod, Yuri Shalabaev, a room with an area of at least one hundred square meters is being selected for the new format SC, it is undergoing modern repairs in a single design, and areas for recreation, work and creativity are being equipped. In the SC on Dolzhanskaya, for example, a kitchen appeared, because young people have a request for culinary master classes.
By the way, seven SCs of the new format are planned to be opened in Nizhny Novgorod in 2022. The first eight neighborhood centers appeared in the city on the basis of TOSs in 2019.
