Biden did not make reckless promises to Zelensky

In a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, United States President Joe Biden made no clear promises of military assistance in the event of a Russian "invasion", Bloomberg reported, citing White House sources.

During the talks, Biden said his administration was "deeply" exploring the possibility of providing Ukraine with additional military and other kinds of assistance in addition to those supplies that have already arrived in Ukraine.

On February 13, Presidents of the United States and Ukraine Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation. The parties discussed the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border. The conversation is said to have lasted less than an hour.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during a telephone conversation with his American counterpart Joe Biden, said that all Ukrainian cities are safe and under reliable protection, and invited him to Kiev.
