Baltic countries appeal to OSCE because of unusual military activity

Poland, the OSCE Chairmanship, said the Baltic countries had asked her to hold a meeting with Belarus and other countries because of "unusual military activity." This is stated in a message on the page of the Polish OSCE mission on Twitter.

“Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have asked the OSCE Chairmanship of Poland to hold a meeting with Belarus and other interested states in connection with unusual military activity,” the report says.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday.

Earlier, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Helga Schmid, said that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) in Ukraine will continue to fulfill its mandate in this country without suspension.

Before that, information appeared in the media that employees of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe began to leave Donetsk by car. Previously, the American representatives of the monitoring mission decided to leave the region because of the threat of "invasion" from Russia.
