State Aviation Service: There are no grounds for closing the sky over Ukraine

There are no grounds for closing the airspace over Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the State Aviation Service of the country Alexander Bilchuk.

According to him, cited by local media, "airspace over Ukraine remains open, there are no grounds for closing the sky over Ukraine today." "The situation is stable," Bilchuk stressed.

As stated for their part in the Ministry of Infrastructure, "closing the airspace is the sovereign right of Ukraine," and no one in Kiev made such a decision.

Nevertheless, some Western airlines, amid tensions provoked by Washington and London, canceled flights to Ukraine. Among them are Delta Airlines, KLM, Ryanair, Polish LOT.

As it became known, in many respects such decisions were provoked by British insurance companies, which notified the carriers of the termination of insurance of civil aircraft located in the airspace of Ukraine. What exactly these steps were based on is not known. However, this happened shortly after the British flag was removed from the United Kingdom Embassy in Kiev (usually this is done in the event of the termination of the work of the diplomatic mission). And all this against the backdrop of incessant unsubstantiated accusations coming from Washington.

The question now is who will be responsible for the frustrated plans that the passengers of the canceled flights had. The West will obviously not pay for the inconvenience caused.
