The official representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, denied the information about the ban on entry into the country for Russian citizens, RIA Novosti reports.

Information about the introduction of a ban on crossing the Ukrainian border for Russians appeared on social networks, and was also distributed by some deputies of the Verkhovna Rada.

The representative of the border service called these reports "rumors" and urged to be guided by "Ukrainian legislation governing the crossing of the state border."

Demchenko also noted that "every day dozens of foreigners are denied entry to Ukraine for various reasons," including "Russians, who, like everyone else, must fulfill the conditions for entry."
