In Chechnya, they explained the need to rename the courts to Akhmatovsky and Sheikh-Mansurovsky

Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - The Chechen parliament explained the request to rename the existing courts in Grozny by inconvenience in pronunciation.

Earlier it became known about the desire of Chechen parliamentarians to rename a number of courts in Grozny. The factory court is proposed to be called Sheikh-Mansurovsky, Leninsky - Akhmatovsky, Staropromyslovsky - Visaitovsky, Oktyabrsky - Baisangurovsky.

The districts of the capital of Chechnya, where the above courts are located, were renamed a little over a year ago.

It follows from the explanatory note that local residents experience inconvenience when pronouncing the old names of courts, but there is no mechanism for renaming them in the country's legislation. The abolition of the old courts with the subsequent creation of new ones is practically impossible, since it is associated with the reappointment of all judges.
