AMD will strike back sooner than thought

Perhaps the dominance of the new Intel processors will last less than we thought.

It was previously believed that AMD will introduce the Raphael generation Ryzen 7000 processors in the fourth quarter of this year. If you believe the new data, and they come from an insider who very often turns out to be right when it comes to CPU or GPU, they announce new items significantly earlier. More precisely, before September!

That is, the announcement is worth waiting for sometime in the summer. Most likely in August, but still we can’t say for sure yet. Of course, it is more important when the processors appear on the market, but usually AMD and Intel in this regard, at least with desktop solutions, are in no hurry to make announcements many months before the start of sales. By the way, with such an early announcement, it becomes clear why we did not see the desktop Ryzen 6000 at the beginning of this year.

Recall that the Ryzen 7000 will be brand new CPUs from the company. They will switch to the Zen 4 architecture and socket AM5, getting support for DDR5 and PCIe 5.0.
