The UK, along with a number of other states, decided to evacuate diplomatic personnel from Ukraine. The same decision was made by Germany and Australia. Many countries - Canada, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Estonia, Japan, New Zealand and others - called on their citizens to leave Ukraine immediately. The authorities of Switzerland and Sweden urged citizens to postpone trips to Ukraine for tourism purposes, as well as to be ready to urgently leave the country if necessary. The Spanish Foreign Ministry is ready to evacuate the staff of its embassy if necessary.

In addition, on February 12-13, British military instructors will begin to leave. According to the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kingdom, James Happy, "there will be no British troops in Ukraine if there is any conflict with Russia."
