Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Russia's response to security guarantees.

At Putin's meeting with the Foreign and Defense Ministers on Monday, February 14, Sergey Lavrov said that the Russian response took ten pages. He noted that the text contains a warning to the West about the inadmissibility of endlessly dragging out the discussion of the issue of security guarantees. There is always a chance to negotiate with the West, he added, and the Russian Federation plans to increase the activity of these negotiations.
