President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has worked as a driver of a new locally produced bus. This is reported by the portal 24.kg.

It is noted that the head of state got behind the wheel during a working trip to the Chui region, where he was introduced to the products of the Beles.kg LLC enterprise. They recently completed the production of test samples of a city passenger bus running on Euro-5 diesel fuel. According to Zhaparov, such transport will help the country solve a number of social and environmental problems. After testing the buses abroad, they will be produced on an industrial scale. It is noted that the state has already purchased the first batch of 10 vehicles.

Earlier in Kyrgyzstan, a “diploma scandal” broke out among officials, during which President Sadyr Zhaparov was also suspected of receiving a fake diploma. MP Dastan Bekeshev wrote that he also graduated from the law faculty of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University in the same year, but never met the president there. However, then the rector of the university, Vladimir Nifadiev, assured that Zhaparov really studied with them.
