UNICEF Humanitarian Aid Brought to Refugees at Belarusian-Polish Border

Belteleradiocompany continues to follow the development of events on the Belarusian-Polish border. For 30 days, refugees are waiting for Poland to open a humanitarian corridor for them. In the meantime, Belarusians are doing everything to support them. In the logistics center, despite the frost outside, the temperature was about 17 degrees, the refugees were given additional blankets. Doctors, volunteers and a shop are working. They bring humanitarian aid.

Now the ATN film crew is also working in the center. Ilya Tsvetkov reports.

The refugees have been at the Belarusian-Polish border for a month now. It's cold outside today, about 10 degrees below zero. Almost no one goes outside from the territory of the logistics center. Just a few minutes ago, humanitarian aid from UNICEF was delivered here.

They brought boxes primarily for families with children. These are 600 hygiene kits and 400 boxes for babies - they contain educational games so that children can spend time here with benefit.

This is the second visit of UNICEF representatives with humanitarian aid. The organization is deeply concerned about the plight of migrant children on the Belarusian-Polish border. The international organization is convinced that children cannot become an instrument in political opposition.

Today, the UNICEF mission will communicate with refugees, find out what kind of assistance (primarily children) is required here in addition. Everything you need will be delivered on the next humanitarian flight.
