Poland introduces cyber threat regime

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has introduced an initial cyber threat regime in the country, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the source, Morawiecki signed an order for the introduction of the first degree of threat (ALFA-CRP) throughout the country "in order to counter threats in cyberspace." Threat mode will be in effect from 15 to 28 February.

It is clarified that the introduction of the regime is primarily a signal to services that care about security. The state administration was obliged to carry out enhanced monitoring of the state of security of teleinformation systems.

Earlier in January, a first-degree cyber threat regime was already introduced in Poland. On the morning of January 14, an attack occurred on the websites of Ukrainian ministries and departments. On the main pages of the sites, a stub was placed in Russian, Polish and Ukrainian, in which it was reported that all the personal data of the one who visited this site was “uploaded to the public network”, and the data on the computer “is destroyed, it is impossible to restore it.”
