The Kremlin described Putin's reaction to statements about Russia's invasion of Ukraine

Claims that Russia is allegedly preparing an “invasion” of Ukraine, and reports of its possible date, are difficult to understand. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

“It is difficult to be understanding, but sometimes [Russian President Vladimir Putin] even jokes, asks to know if the exact time in hours when the war will start is published. Sometimes it is impossible to meet with understanding the manic informational frenzy that is happening,” the Kremlin spokesman answered the question of Putin’s attitude to the fact that in they constantly name the dates of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the alleged day of the invasion of Ukraine, which the Western media “appointed” for February 15, will go down in history as the day of the failure of Western propaganda.

The West has repeatedly accused Russia of the impending "invasion" of the territory of Ukraine. As an argument, Western politicians use the fact that the Russian Federation has allegedly increased its presence in the border areas with Ukraine to 125,000 soldiers.

Moscow denies all accusations and emphasizes that any movement of troops across the country is a sovereign matter. NATO and the alliance's allies think otherwise and are preparing a package of sanctions in the event of an invasion.

Bloomberg, citing officials, wrote that Russia could attack Ukraine on February 15. The German edition of Spiegel reported that the “Russian attack” would take place on February 16th. In Kiev itself, they did not find the prerequisites for this.
