Russia (bbabo.net), - Subdivisions of OOO "Transneft - Vostok" performed scheduled preventive work on the main oil pipelines (MN) in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Irkutsk Region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
A large-scale set of measures was carried out on the linear part of the Krasnoyarsk - Irkutsk oil pipelines and the first stage of the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO-1) pipeline under the program of technical re-equipment and reconstruction. The goal is to increase the operational reliability of the oil pipeline, ensuring industrial and environmental safety. Transportation of oil through the oil pipeline was scheduled to be stopped for 72 hours.
After the reconstruction, four new sections of the linear part of the Krasnoyarsk-Irkutsk railway line with a total length of 15.8 kilometers were connected.
On the linear part of the first stage of the ESPO, work was carried out to ensure the planned high-altitude position of the pipeline in a section with a length of 1402 meters, which lies in the permafrost zone. Taking into account the peculiarities of geography, two layers of thermal insulation were applied to the pipe body during the work. This measure will reduce the impact of positive temperatures of oil moving through the pipeline on the ground.
In addition, at two sections of the oil pipeline, a medium repair of slide gate valves was carried out, which serve to smoothly shut off the movement of oil flow in the event of an oil pipeline shutdown, non-normative elements were eliminated that prevented the safe passage of inspection devices of the unit and station protection algorithms, and the system software of the automation system controller modules was updated.
In all departments of the enterprise, a set of works on maintenance and current repair of automation systems equipment has been implemented, the operation of aggregate and station protection algorithms has been tested, and the system software of automation system controller modules has been updated.
More than 300 employees of the Irkutsk, Lensky, Neryungri regional oil pipeline departments took part in the work, more than 100 pieces of equipment were involved.
Carrying out scheduled repairs is an integral part of the measures to ensure the safe operation of the areal facilities of the linear part of the main oil pipelines Krasnoyarsk - Irkutsk, "Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean" by Transneft Vostok LLC. After the completion of the scheduled work, oil pumping through the main oil pipelines was resumed as planned and on time.
