The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia, Sergei Lavrov, said that the Russian Federation is starting and completing exercises on its territory according to plan. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the minister, the reaction from the Western countries does not affect the duration of the maneuvers.

“As for the exercises that Russia is conducting, I will emphasize once again: on its territory, in accordance with its own plans, they begin, are carried out, and are completed as planned, we have spoken about this many times, and as regards the exercises in the west of the country ... "- explained Lavrov.

He drew attention to the same situation with the teachings of Moscow and Minsk. We are talking about the exercises of Russia and Belarus called "Allied Resolve-2022".

“And this is being done regardless of who thinks and what, who and how will hysteria about this, who and how is deploying real information terrorism, I am not afraid of this word,” the head of the Russian department concluded.

Earlier, Lavrov said that the West is pushing Ukraine to direct provocations against Russia.

Also, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko argued that the process of evolution of the military-political situation in Europe and the world had reached a "dangerous line."
