The head of the American analytical group CNA, Mikhail Kofman, for his part, expressed the opinion that the idea of ​​Russia as a country that is degrading economically and whose days as a global power are numbered is wrong. Marie Dumoulin, head of the Wider Europe program at the think tank of the European Council on Foreign Relations in Brussels, also noted the increased power of the Russian army.
