Russia (bbabo.net), - Finishing work has begun on two small arenas of the ice sports palace under construction in Novosibirsk. Employees of the contractor organization plaster walls, lay tiles, and install engineering networks and fire-fighting water supply.
As specified in the company, the opportunity to start finishing appeared after connecting the heating. All materials necessary for the work have already been delivered.
According to the press service of the government of the Novosibirsk region, documents are being prepared today for connecting heat to the main building of the arena. It is scheduled for early March. The remaining six percent of the stained glass windows will be installed in the main arena by the end of the week. Builders continue to erect partitions, pour floors, lay engineering networks.
Construction is monitored on a daily basis, the progress of work is discussed in detail at weekly meetings of the operational headquarters under the leadership of Andrey Travnikov, Governor of the Novosibirsk Region. The work is under the control of the regional government.

The area of the six-storey ice palace will be 55,000 square meters. It will house the main arena for 10.5 thousand spectators and a training arena with stands for 200 spectators. The arena will host matches of the 2023 IIHF Youth Ice Hockey World Championship.
