“We are particularly concerned about statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Russian officials about the “genocide” in the Donbass. Allegations about this are devoid of any grounds,” he said.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he considers what is happening in the Donbass to be genocide.

The armed conflict in the east of Ukraine began in 2014, when the inhabitants of Donbass did not recognize the new government after the coup.
