Russia (bbabo.net), - Eleven of the 22 major cities in the Far East are at risk of failing to comply with President Vladimir Putin's order to present master plans for their development at the Eastern Economic Forum in 2022. This was stated by the plenipotentiary representative of the president in the Far Eastern Federal District - Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev following a meeting of the district council.

We signed contracts with designers and actually started work only in half of the cities, Trutnev noted. The rest wrote that they were "negotiating". According to the plenipotentiary representative of the head of state, they have very little chance of fulfilling the president's order on time.

"The advanced Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Magadan, Nakhodka and Neryungri are behind," he listed.

Large enterprises operating in these cities can save the situation, the vice-premier believes. After all, it is their administration that should be interested in the fact that workers live in a beautiful and comfortable environment.
