Lukashenko called senseless spending on the creation of Russian military bases in Belarus

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that there is no need to create Russian military bases in the republic. He told reporters about this after getting acquainted with the course of the Belarusian-Russian military exercises "Allied Resolve - 2022" at the Osipovichi training ground, BelTA reports.

The joint Belarusian-Russian exercises "Allied Resolve - 2022" started on February 10 in Belarus. The maneuvers take place at five Belarusian training grounds (Domanovsky, Gozhsky, Obuz-Lesnovsky, Brest and Osipovichsky) and in separate areas of the terrain. The event will last until February 20.
