Belarus ready to place S-400 systems near Minsk

S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems can become a reliable iron shield for the defense of the Belarusian capital. This was stated by Alexander Lukashenko on February 17 after the inspection of the joint exercises of the Union State at the Osipovichsky training ground, BelTA informs.

The President explained that the Russian S-400 system is currently in the republic. Belarusian military personnel are already mastering it at the training center: “If necessary, we will install a couple more installations. And we don’t need more. This is a weapon that“ sees ”at a distance, in my opinion, of 600 kilometers. Minsk or near Minsk and we will see what is being done in Kiev, beyond Warsaw, and so on."

True, according to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, S-300 complexes are enough for the defense needs of Belarus.
