Russia and the CIS (bbabo.net) - A significant event took place in the life of the Muslim Ummah of the Moscow region - the Spiritual and Educational Center of the Muslim community "Vozrozhdeniye" was opened in Klin, the appearance of which the believers have been waiting for many years, the press service of the Muslim Muslim Spiritual Directorate of the Moscow Region reports.
The solemn opening ceremony was timed to coincide with two important dates - the 1100th anniversary of the official adoption of Islam by the peoples of the Volga Bulgaria and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Moscow region from fascist invaders.
The ceremony was attended by dozens of guests, including representatives of the government of the Moscow region and Tatarstan, public and religious figures.
The center is intended to be a place of spiritual enlightenment and moral education of young people, a multifunctional platform for the religious, cultural and social life of believers.
Alena Sokolskaya, the head of the Klin city district, noted that religious centers like this one contribute to the preservation and promotion of spiritual and moral values in society, maintaining centuries-old good neighborliness and mutual respect.
At the same time, the official donated a gift edition of the Holy Quran to the center.
Mufti of the Moscow Region Rushan Abbyasov thanked the authorities of the region for their support in creating the center, noting the importance of the fact that it is located on the Klin land, where “the Klin-Solnechnogorsk defensive operation took place, during which our heroically fighting multinational Red Army managed to finally stop the German offensive on Moscow direction.
“We are infinitely grateful to our ancestors who liberated the Moscow region, and then the country and the whole world from fascist invaders, and today we can live in peace, create and raise our children,” Mufti Abbyasov added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly spoken out in favor of expanding Muslim cultural, scientific and educational centers in the country. According to him, these centers contribute to the unification of Muslims, the transfer to them of the spiritual, cultural and moral code inherent in traditional Islam in the Russian Federation. In addition, the activities of these centers are aimed at solving common problems and promoting the education of young people.
