Ukraine does not want to resolve the existing problems in relations with Russia. Serhiy Belashko, director of the Social Communications Agency, said this on the air of the Pershiy Kozatsky channel.

“We need to come to some kind of decision, and the more Ukraine pulls, in fact, the more painful this decision will be for Ukraine,” the expert said.

Belashko stressed that the position of the Kiev authorities creates more costs for international partners. In addition, the population of Ukraine itself is also suffering, for whom the current situation “flies a pretty penny”, since no major investment projects are being implemented and will not be implemented.

In recent months, there have been statements in the West and Kiev in particular about Russia's allegedly impending "invasion" of Ukraine. In turn, the Kremlin has more than once directly denied any plans for an attack, and reports from Western media and officials about the preparation of an attack are called unfounded and untrue.

Earlier, the former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov said that the escalation of the threat of "Russian invasion" by Western countries is in the nature of "economic sabotage".
