Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin is allegedly "amusing himself" with a military buildup on the borders with Ukraine and NATO countries, Reuters reported.

“I think he [Putin] is genuinely pleased with himself being the center of attention in the West, because there were times earlier when he was, to some extent, overlooked,” Kallas said.

She also noted that at this stage, Putin really managed to get the leaders of the West to listen to him.

“However, now that several Western leaders have come to talk to him, everyone around is constantly speculating about what Putin will do next - and this position very significant,” Kallas said.

Earlier, the British Foreign Office said that Russian President Vladimir Putin "should reject" the State Duma's proposal to recognize the DPR and LPR.
