The network of high-voltage power lines feeds the country's largest oil and gas fields and provides electricity to about 470,000 residents of the region. Rosseti Tyumen will allocate more than 117 million rubles to improve the reliability of power supply to consumers.
Power engineers will carry out work in the Nizhnevartovsk region of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Yugra. At 133 power transmission towers, foundations will be replaced or strengthened, the stability of which has decreased due to the impact of the harsh climatic conditions of the subarctic zone. In addition, the energy company will install more than a thousand bird protection devices (PZD), which will protect the birds.
Every year, Rosseti Tyumen pays great attention to clearing the protection zones of power lines from overgrowth and shrubs, as well as maintaining the standard width of clearings. In 2022, more than 600 hectares of high-voltage line routes are planned to be cleared in the Nizhnevartovsk region. In preparation for the thunderstorm period, specialists will repair ground loops on 117 towers and mount 66 surge arresters.
In total, the Nizhnevartovsk electrical networks operate more than 3,300 km of power transmission lines. The area of responsibility of the Rosseti Tyumen branch includes consumers in 22 settlements of Yugra, as well as oil and gas production facilities of Rosneft and Gazprom.
