Russia (bbabo.net), - February 16, a solemn ceremony of awarding the international award "Engineering of the Future" was held.

On the final day of the International Week of Science "The Power of Engineering", six regions initiating the Scientific and Educational Center (REC) hosted the awarding of the winners of the international award "Engineering of the Future". The ceremony was attended by industrial partners, REC participating universities, academicians, professors, teachers, students and schoolchildren, scientific experts from Belarus, Germany, France, China, Norway, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Slovenia.

- To be honest, I am inspired by the work organized by the REC, by the results that can be achieved in the shortest possible time. We are already being looked at especially and more closely at the level of the federal government, by leading experts and scientists. I very much hope that we will justify the hopes, not only ours, but also those of our esteemed partners, the country's leadership. I want to thank all of you for this friendly, teamwork within the framework of the REC. To thank our esteemed colleagues - the governors, with whom we created this REC, and it reaches new heights, - said the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the world-class REC "Engineering of the Future", Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov.

Recall that the prize was awarded to those who made a great contribution to the formation, development, increase in the efficiency of the REC, the formation of educational, scientific and human potential. There were 39 nominations in total, the winners of which were teams and individual representatives of the scientific community, industrial partners, the REC management company, as well as schoolchildren, students and student teams. A total of 115 people were awarded in six regions. Also, the heads of the Samara, Tambov, Penza, Ulyanovsk regions, Mordovia and Chuvashia each presented three special prizes to those who, in their opinion, deserve the REC "Engineering of the Future" award.

- I'm glad that we managed to spend this rich, interesting week of science "The Power of Engineering". I would like to thank the heads of the regions for their continued support. Without colleagues from the regions, authorities, rectors, we would not have succeeded. Most of all I would like to thank, I think that all of you colleagues will support me, Dmitry Igorevich. Thank you for taking the risk, believing in us and entrusting us with this project. This is such a drive every day, without days off. Believe it or not, we are happy to work on this project. We are glad that the results of the REC activities inspire you. We understand the responsibility placed on us by first place in the competition, leadership figures at the end of the year, and your successful performance at the State Council. Therefore, colleagues, we have a lot of work ahead of us, - said Olga Mikheeva, Advisor to the Governor of the Samara Region, General Director of the ANO Institute for Regional Development - the managing company of the world-class REC "Engineering of the Future".
