Moldova (bbabo.net), - Bags with bills were brought to the PAS offices today during protests organized by the SHOR Party simultaneously in 22 localities. Hundreds of people took to the streets to express their dissatisfaction with the recent unprecedented rise in prices. The demonstrators chanted in chorus that they had no more money to pay their utility bills and demanded that the PAS sheep pay them because they had not found a solution to avoid the rise in prices.
Protests were organized in Balti, Anenii Noi, Basarabeasca, Briceni, Cahul, Cantemir, Causeni, Cimislia, Criuleni, Donduseni, Drochia, Edinet, Falesti, Floresti, Nisporeni, Ocnita, Orhei, Riscani, Soldanesti, Soroca, Straseni and Ungheni.
Deputy Marina Tauber, who coordinated the protest in Balti, noted that the current government is solely concerned with its own welfare, and because of their incompetence and irresponsibility, people's lives are becoming increasingly difficult.
“Those who are raising tariffs today – ANRE and other state institutions that are under the personal control of Maia Sandu and the gangsters around her, are getting ever higher salaries. The more tariffs grow, their incomes grow. They get millions while ordinary people count the last banuts. We must say a resounding "NO!" this lawlessness, we must fight and overthrow this government. We understand that if this lawlessness continues, people will begin to starve. We cannot allow this!” Marina Tauber said in front of the people of Balti.
“I work in a kindergarten, and if until now children were fed with normal food, today it is water, not food. Without meat and without those products that kids need so much, ”the woman complained.
“They promised one thing, but they do something completely different. They drive us into a corner. 5,000 lei for gas means for us, pensioners, to choose one of two things - either to die of hunger or to die of cold,” the pensioner from Balti was indignant.
Residents of the city of Orhei demanded the resignation of the government, accusing it of incompetence.
“We brought a sack of overpriced bills where prices are three times higher for gas and other services to be paid for by our rulers. Every third citizen wants to permanently leave the country and not return. The death rate is higher than the birth rate. In three or four years, we risk ceasing to exist as a people. Soon only ministers, deputies of the parliamentary majority and the president will remain in our country. All the people who raised this country came to a wooden hoe. How long can we endure this? Enough!” said the mayor of the municipality of Piatra, Orhei district, Radu Bushile.
“In our country there is an anomaly in relation to prices. The culprits in this situation are none other than the PAS sheep led by Maia Sandu. They do not hesitate to raise prices, they do not hesitate to raise their salaries, they do not hesitate to appoint their relatives to positions. Why should we suffer because of their incompetence?! Resignation! ”, - said the district and municipal adviser Anatoly Nyamtsev.
The action took place after the leader of the formation, Ilan Shor, severely criticized the authorities for unprecedented recent price increases, as well as in connection with the announcement of an increase in the price of electricity. According to him, in this situation, people have no choice but to turn over their bills to PAS-sheep, so that they pay them.
Over the past two weeks, the SHOR Party has organized a number of flash mobs in the capital, as well as in other localities of the country. People protested in front of the Franzelu a bakery, in front of MoldovaGaz, in front of the National Energy Regulatory Agency and in front of the presidential villa in Condrita. In addition, the PAS authorities and President Maia Sandu were booed all over the country. Hundreds of people protested at the same time in ten cities across the country to protest against the recent unprecedented rise in energy and food prices.
