According to RIA Novosti, work has been organized to identify people with signs of illness, thermometry is being carried out. If people have a fever or other symptoms, medical assistance is provided and measures are taken to prevent the spread of infection.

Temporary accommodation centers for evacuated citizens have been organized on the territory of the Rostov Region. Now they are filling health camps in the Neklinovsky district, and points in the Matveevo-Kurgan district, Gukovo and Taganrog are ready to receive them.

As of February 18, 2022, in the Rostov region, according to Rospotrebnadzor, 284,000 laboratory-confirmed cases of a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 were registered; the increase per day amounted to 4528 cases of the disease.
