The state had to take a loan and draw a line with the Russians, with poverty, so that people pay less for gas and pensions are higher. It is necessary to take out a loan, as Romania and other countries do, and give compensation only to vulnerable segments of the population, but not to everyone. We have a state that has plunged a knife into our hearts, and we thank you,” Mihai Ghimpu added.

Ghimpu criticized the government, which he said "keeps us under the influence of the Russian Federation."
