Croatian prime minister compares president to 'drunkard in a tavern'

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic called the two-year anniversary of President Zoran Milanovic's mandate a defeat, accusing him of harmful and toxic behavior. The news portal Dnevnik.hr writes about this.

Earlier, the president said that "he has been looking at NATO expansion to the east all his damned life, that's enough." The Prime Minister condemned this statement and said that the level of political culture of Milanovic is close to "a drunkard in a tavern."

“In the field of foreign policy - harmful, isolated. In domestic politics - a toxic attitude that lowers political culture, communication at the level of verbal wildness ... The contribution to the improvement of any segment of the Croatian state is zero, ”Plenkovic said.

Early NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed the intention to strengthen the presence of the military in Eastern Europe. The politician noted that NATO is considering the possibility of deploying new battle groups not only in Romania, but also in other countries of the Black Sea region. The final decision to expand military influence in these territories in the long term is scheduled for the spring of this year.
