Russia (bbabo.net), - The regions of the Central Federal District are preparing to receive refugees from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. Recall that in the Oryol region, they have already announced the placement of 500 people and very soon the places for this will be officially approved.
In the neighboring Kursk region, they noted that they are currently ready to receive three times more people from Donbass: comfortable accommodation will be prepared for them in health-improving children's camps and sanatoriums. In the Belgorod region, at the moment, they did not name specific data on places for victims in the war zone, however, the press service of the regional government announced the region's readiness to "stretch a helping hand and support" them.
The Kursk, Oryol and Belgorod regions were named by the Ministry of Emergency Situations among the regions that will receive refugees from Donbass. However, opportunities to do the same have now been announced in other entities. For example, the head of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, instructed to check the readiness of social institutions in the region for the possible accommodation of refugees.
“Health camps, recreation centers, sanatoriums, social protection institutions are considered as temporary accommodation points,” the regional administration noted.
The Bryansk region is also ready to accept refugees. According to the government of the region, at the moment measures have been developed to prepare for their reception and placement. So, on the basis of health camps and sanatoriums, temporary accommodation centers for 500 people will be deployed. Food and medical care will be organized for people at these points.
Earlier, the authorities of the Tula region announced their readiness to accommodate about 500 children from Donbass at local recreation centers. A list of vacancies for adult refugees is also being developed. In addition, the authorities of the region will send humanitarian aid to the Rostov region, where the evacuees are now being held. It includes vegetables, cereals, canned food, confectionery, as well as non-food products, including antiseptics.
Yevgeny Revenko, deputy head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma, told TASS that the Voronezh region is ready to receive 4,500 people. They can be placed in children's camps, sanatoriums and recreation centers. According to him, the governor of the region, Alexander Gusev, confirmed that, if necessary, the region can increase the number of people received.
Acting Governor of Yaroslavl Mikhail Eraev also said that the region he leads will provide humanitarian assistance to refugees from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
“We have already spoken with the head of the regional branch of the Charity and Health Foundation, Svetlana Lyagusheva,” he said. “We will do this together – we will form an organizing committee. our year-round camps and hostel training organizations."
He called on all concerned to help the refugees.
Recall that many of these regions already have experience in accommodating the residents of Donbass who suffered from hostilities. In 2014, first the border regions, and then their neighbors, not only accommodated people who arrived from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, but also provided opportunities for their socialization. Many refugees then decided to stay in the regions where they were accepted, and all these years they have been living and working here.
