Russia (bbabo.net), - Starting on February 20, the Grand Tour "Baikal Mile 2022. Places of Power" involves a journey from different parts of Russia to the legendary lake. The organizers have prepared 20 unique routes that participants will receive during the draw, the press service of the Baikal Mile 2022 festival reported.
The idea of the project is to see and show Russia through the roads leading to Baikal. The path from different parts of our Motherland to the legendary lake will allow the Grand Tour teams to complete a number of creative route tasks dedicated to the cultural and historical heritage of the regions of Russia, as well as related to environmental, geographical and patriotic education.
Tasks for participants are formed by thematic blocks by the Russian Geographical Society, the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Buryatia and the Museum of Victory on Poklonnaya Hill. Theme of the Grand Tour will be "Places of Power", where you can find energy and support, which is critically important for a person. This topic will be meaningfully reflected in the assignments.
This year, the participants of the Grand Tour from Moscow (start on Poklonnaya Gora), St. Petersburg (Anchor Square, Kronstadt) and Vladivostok will have to overcome from four to 7.5 thousand kilometers on different routes. The composition of each crew is 2-5 people (there must be a blogger or journalist). They will prepare reports about what they saw during the trip. Also, one of the key topics of the run is Baikalsk, where reports on the history, present and future of the city are planned.
Several crews of the Grand Tour will be entrusted with an important and exciting mission - participation in the final stage of the expedition "Bow to the Ships of the Great Victory" and delivery of cartridge cases with soil from the Baltic Sea from the place of discovery of sunken ships and submarines to the homeland of the fallen heroes.
