Ukrainian saboteurs tried to break through to the Russian border. This was reported by the Donetsk News Agency with reference to the Ministry of State Security of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.

According to the Ministry of State Security, at approximately 08:10, an enemy sabotage group broke through in the Novoazovsky district of the DPR. The Ukrainian security forces tried to break through to the Russian border, but were stopped by the people's militia of the DPR, the department clarifies.

It is also noted that one Ukrainian saboteur tried to mine railway infrastructure facilities near the railway station in Donetsk, but was blown up by his own explosive device.
