Senator Ryabukhin: Payments to refugees from Donbass will not affect the social guarantees of Russians

Russia (bbabo.net), - Payments of 10 thousand rubles to those who were evacuated from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR) will not have any negative financial consequences for Russian citizens, assured the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Budget and financial markets Sergei Ryabukhin.

A one-time payment of 10,000 rubles, provided for providing assistance to residents of Donbass, is due to all refugees who crossed the border of the Russian Federation starting from February 18.

"These measures will not have any negative impact on Russian citizens permanently residing in the territory of the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation," Ryabukhin told TASS.

The senator explained that it is primarily about supporting Russian citizens who live in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. He is also confident that the resources at the disposal of the government, the federal budget and state off-budget funds "create a very serious margin of safety" that will make it possible to successfully cope with the task of humanitarian support.
