Russia - Moscow doctors entered the red zones of the regions

Russia (bbabo.net), - Since the beginning of this week, multidisciplinary teams of doctors from the capital have joined in the regions that need help in the fight against coronavirus infection. They include 56 specialists. And this is not the first trip during the pandemic.

“Moscow has accumulated the greatest experience in combating COVID-19,” Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development of the City, told journalists. “We are trying to prepare the healthcare system for any development of the epidemiological situation and quickly adapt it based on the prevailing conditions. Now in the capital the peak of morbidity has been overcome and we can provide assistance to other regions."

In Moscow, yesterday, indeed, the minimum incidence rate was registered since the beginning of the second decade of January - 4997 infected. This is less than the day before by 27 percent. The next wave in Moscow, as usual, starts earlier than others, but also ends earlier. Among the regions where the incidence is still quite high, Chuvashia.

We contacted Andrei Gasanov, a 27-year-old anesthesiologist-resuscitator at the Filatov City Clinical Hospital No. 15, when he had just left the "red zone" of the republican hospital for war veterans in Cheboksary. “My colleagues and I spent this day in the intensive care unit, where the fight for the lives of 11 patients is now underway,” he said. “At the bedside of each patient, we discussed the tactics of treatment, the most effective methods of oxygen support, clinic. Although we are the first doctors who came here as part of a team from Moscow, but with the help of the telemedicine center, colleagues can get a consultation in the capital at any time and willingly use this opportunity."

Andrei Gasanov himself was able to go on a business trip only because, as in the capital as a whole, the flow of patients to one of the largest coronavirus hospitals, which is the Filatov Hospital, has now decreased, and she, along with other city clinics, has returned to routine work.

Andrey Tyazhelnikov, head physician of the Moscow City Consultative and Diagnostic Polyclinic No. 121, left for the Crimea. Not on vacation, but also as part of a team of doctors. He also has something to share with his colleagues here in the outpatient department. With particular interest, they took the story of how in the capital, during the rise in the incidence, doctors of city clinics managed to cope with the influx of patients by organizing special departments for patients with symptoms of SARS. With a separate entrance, testing almost at the very door, well-designed routing, thanks to which the time for a visit to the doctor was reduced to half an hour. The Crimean doctors also have their own experience, but they agree that the unification of the best ways to organize the reception of patients at such moments of a massive increase in the incidence, which our country experienced with the advent of omicron, is very useful.

How undeniably useful for everyone is the Moscow experience in organizing vaccination against coronavirus, deployed not only in medical institutions, but also in multifunctional centers, shopping centers and other large sites.

Such teams of doctors are now also working in the Kursk, Saratov, Amur regions, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Trans-Baikal and Altai Territories and others. They include infectious disease doctors, epidemiologists, anesthesiologists, resuscitators, nurses and other specialists.
