Russia - 70 military families from Plesetsk received service housing

Russia (bbabo.net), - On Tuesday, February 22, on the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, more than 70 military families were solemnly handed over the keys to new service apartments.

They are located in a 12-story residential building built by the Russian Ministry of Defense for specialists from the Plesetsk State Test Cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk Region. "The apartments are rented out with a fine finish. There is a children's playground, walking paths and car parking on the adjacent territory. The building was erected by military builders, taking into account the climatic features of this region," the ministry said.

They noted that the creation of new social facilities at the Plesetsk cosmodrome is provided for by the Federal Target Program "Development of Cosmodromes for the Period 2017-2025". As part of its implementation, it is planned to build a new residential microdistrict in the city of Mirny, as well as reconstruct cultural, leisure and sports facilities.

“Six residential buildings have already been commissioned for military personnel in the microdistrict. Construction of a new garrison military hospital is underway, the Russian Defense Ministry said. “The modern medical institution will have all the conditions for providing high-tech medical care to military personnel and the civilian population of the region.”

In addition, a new modern ice palace is already operating - not only the military personnel of the garrison, but also the inhabitants of Mirny go in for sports there. Now military builders are building a sports and recreation complex with swimming pools and gyms in the city.
