The dates for the meeting of the heads of government of the EAEU in Kazakhstan have been determined

The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council with the participation of the heads of government of the economic union will be held on February 24-25 in the capital of Kazakhstan - Nur-Sultan. The press service of the EEC informed about this on Tuesday, specifying that observers from Cuba and Uzbekistan and Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, will also take part in the work of the council.

The leaders of the executive branch of the EAEU "will discuss the implementation of the agreement on the traceability mechanism for goods imported into the customs territory of the EAEU and the agreement on the use of navigation seals in the EAEU to track shipments to the EEC press service," the EEC explained.

In addition, it is planned to consider a roadmap for expanding industrial cooperation in the field of civil aircraft manufacturing in the Union countries for 2022-2023, a report on the current state and prospects for the development of the EAEU integrated information system.

The working agenda of the meeting also included discussion of the joint project of the Union States on the implementation of accelerated container rail and multimodal transportation of agricultural products "Eurasian Agroexpress", amendments to the Treaty on the EAEU in terms of the procedure for levying indirect taxes on electronic trade in goods sold to individuals, as well as Uzbekistan's participation in individual initiatives of the international organization.
