Acting Minister of Information of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov said that at about 0.50 an explosion occurred. According to him, the explosive device was most likely self-made, without damaging elements.

But the power of the explosive was enough to leave a crater at the site of the explosion.

“I admit that this is like a warning to journalists that there may be subsequent terrorist acts against journalists,” Bezsonov concluded.

It is reported that the general director of the television center and journalists were in the building.

Earlier it was reported that unknown persons attempted to assassinate the former DPR Minister of Defense Vladimir Kononov, the Ministry of State Security of the republic reported. As a result of two explosions, a local resident received a mine-explosive injury, Kononov himself was not injured. In the last week alone, at least six assassination attempts have been organized in the Donbass.
