Russia (bbabo.net), - The appearance of the Ural branch of the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra was announced in Sochi during the Yuri Bashmet Winter International Arts Festival. The corresponding agreement was signed by the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Sverdlovsk State Academic Philharmonic Society, the Ural Special Music School (college) and the leadership of the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYSO).

For talented young musicians living in the Urals, this opens up new opportunities: there will be more master classes with the best teachers, more creative internships, performances and concerts.

“This is how we raise the prestige of orchestral playing for young musicians. It’s no secret that our conservatories are focused mainly on training soloists, and it often happens that young musicians after graduating from educational institutions are simply not ready to play in an orchestra,” explains the first deputy director Sverdlovsk Philharmonic on the creative activity of Rustem Khasanov.

According to him, having found no use for themselves in their homeland, many talented musicians leave the country. Only special attention to youth orchestras and popularization of orchestral performing art among young musicians can stop them.

It is especially valuable that the work will begin right from the school bench. "Now we can talk about creating an integral system for training highly professional orchestral musicians, about a system that covers all stages of music education: school - music school (college) - university, as well as maintaining and developing the leading positions of the Ural Symphony School," said the director of the Ural Special music school (college) Elvira Arkhangelskaya.
