The Nokia G21 smartphone is presented: it is an improved version of last year's Nokia G20 in all respects

HMD Global today officially announced the Nokia G21 smartphone, which is the successor to the Nokia G20 launched last year. The company has improved the screen, camera and battery.

The Nokia G21 features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also supports an adaptive refresh rate that goes down to 60Hz in power saving mode. The device is based on a Unisoc T606 single-chip system manufactured using a 12-nm process technology. It contains two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, as well as a Mali G75-MP1 GPU.

The phone has 4 GB of RAM and two flash storage options - 64 GB and 128 GB. It also has a microSD card slot. The main camera uses image sensors with a resolution of 50, 2 and 2 megapixels. The camera supports Super Resolution and Night Mode.

The device runs Android 11 operating system out of the box, but the company has confirmed that the phone will receive Android 12 operating system soon. Not only that, Nokia also promised two major Android updates, which means that the device will also receive Android 13 update in the future.

The phone is equipped with a 5050 mAh battery with support for 18-watt charging. However, you will find a 10W charger in the box.

The Nokia G21 is available in two color options - Nordic Blue and Dusk. The smartphone will soon appear on the European market at a price of €170.
