And until the last years of her life (she died in 1994), she headed the vocal club "Fighting Friends of Stalingrad".

In memory of this, her son Vladimir Mikhailov and a member of the Union of Writers Valery Kalinkin composed the song "Mother's Accordion". On Defender of the Fatherland Day, it will be performed at the Victory Museum as part of the Serve Russia gala concert.

The holiday, which is celebrated in Russia on February 23, was called differently in different years, but its essence is the same: this is a day for the glory of those who are ready to defend the Motherland and who are now serving in the military. Another new exhibition at the Victory Museum tells how this day was celebrated during the Great Patriotic War. It opened the day before and will be open until March 25.
