The representative office of the Lugansk People's Republic in the joint center for control and coordination of the ceasefire regime wrote on Telegram that a fighter of the LPR people's militia was killed as a result of shelling by the armed forces of Ukraine.

In total, in the evening (from 19.45 to 21.10) on Wednesday, February 23, 16 attacks were recorded.

Earlier, the office was informed about the explosion of several improvised bombs near the trolleybus depot in Lugansk. They noted that a pyrotechnics warehouse is located 70 meters from the explosion site - the detonation of its contents could lead to civilian casualties.

Before that, in the city of Shchastya, Luhansk region, a fire broke out at a thermal power plant. According to the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations, the fire started after the shelling of the thermal power plant from the territory not controlled by Kiev.
