Deputies of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarussia will take part in monitoring the referendum on amendments to the Constitution of Belarus, the assembly's press service reported. The delegation will be headed by Artem Turov, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on Legislation and Regulations, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots.

The delegation also included a member of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on Legislation and Regulations, Chairman of the State Duma Commission on Regulations and Ensuring the Activities of the State Duma Viktor Pinsky, a member of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on Ecology, Nature Management and Elimination of the Consequences of Accidents, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Alexander Yaroshuk . International observers from the Parliamentary Assembly will visit polling stations in Brest, Minsk region. A number of meetings are planned with the leadership of the Central Commission of the Republic of Belarus for elections and holding republican referendums, regional election commissions, as well as with representatives of regional councils of deputies and government bodies.
